XM Review: The Federal Reserve releases eight Beige Books every year, summarizing the economic status of the 12 Federal Reserve districts. The seventh Beige Book of the year was released today, which states that: overall economic activity has changed little, with three regions reporting slight to moderate growth in economic activity, five regions reporting no change in economic activity, and four regions reporting a slight slowdown in economic activity. Judging from this description, three regions grew moderately and four regions slowed slightly, which means that the performance of the U.S. macroeconomic is still biased downward.

The release of the Beige Book did not trigger violent fluctuations in the US dollar index. It can be seen from this description that US inflation data are still affected by Trump's tariff policy. It can be seen from the overlay chart of the annual rate of U.S. CPI and core CPI that both have entered a stable period after July 2024. The current inflation rate data, which is around 3%, does not pose a threat to the Fed's interest rate cut policy. If CPI data continues to rise in the future due to high tariffs, the Fed may have to reduce the frequency and magnitude of interest rate cuts.

Once the trend line is broken, it may declare the end of the rebound trend. The upper limit of the shock range (100.23) may be a strong resistance area for this round of rising trends.
